Our Story

A first project. A lasting ambition.

Our story began in Batumi in 2018, when Kakha Devadze founded NEXT and introduced its first project, NEXT Orange.

From that starting point on Georgia’s Black Sea coast, the company expanded into residential development and hospitality. New projects brought different settings, architectural approaches and ways to live.

Today, NEXT Properties brings the residential collection together across Georgia, the United Arab Emirates, Kenya and Spain. It is a place to explore each development on its own terms: the location, the design, the home and the details that make it right for you.

From Georgian beginnings to an international portfolio, these milestones trace NEXT’s published company history.

2018
A beginning in Batumi.
Kakha Devadze founds NEXT in Batumi. NEXT Orange is its first project.
2020
A growing residential portfolio.
NEXT Apartments begins construction, alongside the expansion through NEXT Green and NEXT White.
2021
A move into hospitality.
NEXT Hotels launches. Wyndham becomes the first global hotel-brand partnership, and Villa Park begins construction.
2022
A broader coastal vision.
Radisson Blu Residences and NEXT Collection mark the next stage of the company’s resort-living portfolio.
2023
Expansion into Dubai.
Construction begins on NEXT Coral at Dubai Islands, extending NEXT’s residential portfolio into the UAE. NEXT Address launches in Batumi, alongside construction of NEXT Gardens.
2024
Expansion into Africa (Kenya).
NEXT enters Africa with the announcement of NEXT Amani in Kenya, extending its residential portfolio to a third continent.
2025
Expansion into Spain.
NEXT expands into Spain with Villa Perla, adding a Mediterranean residential project to its international portfolio.
2025
Expansion into Zanzibar (second African market).
NEXT announces its expansion into Zanzibar, adding a new East African destination to its development plans.
2025
A new chapter in Tbilisi.
Tbilisi Oriental brings a new riverside residential project to Georgia’s capital, on the banks of the Mtkvari River.
